Weird. - The Moan

Born in Rome in the second half of 2011, Weird. is the brainchild of Marco Barzetti (guitar and vocals). Matteo D’Argenio (bass guitar, replaced by Giovanni Romano in april 2013) and Massimiliano Pecci (drums) join him before the end of the year.
The band spent most of 2012 experimenting in the studio, which resulted in the band’s first album “Desert Love For Lonely Graves”. The album was recorded and mixed by Marco Barzetti in his home studio, and mastered by Iacopo Sinigaglia (Libra).

“Desert Love For Lonely Graves” has been released on january 15, 2013.
All seven tracks flow slowly between reverberate guitars and vocals, autumnal bass and sepulchral drums, while diverse musical genres such as shoegaze and psychedelia converge beautifully.
